Ashley Taron

Ashley was born in Kelowna, BC. She graduated at the University British Columbia Okanagan with her Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2014 and it was within those University years that she discovered her passion for Makeup Artistry and painting. Once graduated, she moved to Vancouver to pursue her dream of creating makeup looks for movies. Within her 7 years in Vancouver, she started to volunteer as a makeup artist on movie sets and soon realized the work was not as fulfilling as she imagined.

She worked her way to becoming a Senior Artist at Sephora –It was during this time that she discovered her ability to use her talents as a makeup artist and color theory knowledge to change the lives of women. Seeing faces light up after covering a bruise from abuse, creating eyebrows that were lost after cancer treatments, or color correcting scars of the past, it was the fulfillment she craved. She believes beauty comes from within, but sometimes after trauma or hardships, we lose a piece of who we once were and as a makeup artist, she was able to color back in some of those pieces. Currently, Ashley works as a makeup artist, painter and photographer. Her plans are to continue to make a difference in the lives of those who have gone through hardship or trauma. Through her art and creative passions, she wants to add color back into as many lives as she can.
